The family operations assistant

A mobile-first AI assistant that ingests household documents, tracks renewals and school tasks, and answers questions grounded only in your family's own data.

Deployed pilot — live on Vercel + Supabase

The problem

Household admin is a silent part-time job: passports expiring, school forms due, insurance renewals, documents scattered across drives and chats. Nothing reminds you until it's late.

The system

An Expo/React Native app backed by Supabase with row-level security treated as a P0 invariant — each family's data is cryptographically isolated. Documents arrive via a shared drive folder or Telegram, get classified and filed automatically, and feed expiry tracking and per-child school task views. A server-side tool-calling agent answers natural-language questions grounded exclusively in that family's data — no API keys on the client, ever.

How it flows

  1. 01

    Document arrives

    Drive folder or Telegram

  2. 02

    Classify & file

AI classification into the family archive

  3. 03

    Extract dates

Expiries and renewals into the tracker

  4. 04

    Remind & answer

    Grounded agent, RLS-isolated per family

Who this is for

Built as a single-family pilot with a deliberate multi-tenant SaaS path. The engineering story — grounded agents plus hard tenant isolation — is the same pattern any B2C AI product needs.
